Meet with the driver and transfer to the TANTOLUNDEN Urban Gardens for your visit.

The allotment area, created in 1915 to provide sustenance for the urban population during the First World War, now boasts more than one hundred small gardens, some with elaborate designs and charming little houses that seem straight out of a fairy tale. From its inception, it was established that the size of the allotments could not exceed 14 square meters. It is a prime example of the urban gardens that emerged in major cities across Europe and the USA from the 2th century onwards, contributing to the nutrition and health of citizens, as well as social stability.

Full day of sightseeing in Stockholm: Skansen, Rosendahls trädgård, where we will have lunch and finally Millesgården.

SkansenThe first open-air museum, founded in 1891, aimed to preserve old buildings of all kinds and the disappearing traditional way of life during the height of industrialization and societal change. It features over 150 structures that have been relocated from various parts of Sweden. From its inception, great importance was placed on green spaces, including traditional orchards, classical gardens, rose gardens, and medicinal herb gardens. It is undoubtedly a true landscape gem that reflects the history of Swedish gardens from the 18th century to the present day.

Rosendahls TrädgardA collection of landscaped areas created with the aim of bringing organic and biodynamic horticulture to everyone from different perspectives. According to the Foundation that manages it, "it is an oasis for growth, sustainability, and enjoyment." Here you'll find orchards with centuries-old fruit trees, a rose garden, a herb garden, and large greenhouses, one of which houses a lovely shop and another a café-restaurant where you can enjoy their organic lunch.

Millesgården The Carl Milles House Museum on the island of Lidingö, created from 1908 until the mid-20th century, is located just outside Stockholm. Its beautiful gardens, filled with sculptures and fountains, offer spectacular views and are a testament to Milles' mastery of art and space. The gardens reflect a strong Mediterranean and classical influence, as well as the Alpine inspiration evident in one section, which he created in homage to his Austrian wife. It is a truly unique and inspiring place.
