Speaking of trips that mark your life, we cannot stop talking about Tanzania.

In this case, it is Belén who tells us directly, sharing what it was like for her and how she lived it.

For me it has been one of the trips of my life, I love nature and animals and here you cannot feel it in a better way. With the Lodges that are within the different reserves, you follow the migration depending on the time of year in which you travel, so the different points are touched to see the animals and wildlife in all its splendor.

I was in the month of March and we started the route in the national park of tarngire, where I began to get excited with the lush vegetation that I never expected to see in Africa and animals that I came across. One of the magical moments was enjoying the African sunset and the community campfire around which we shared our first impressions. we sleep in a lodge maweninga in the middle of nature, always under the protection of a Masai who ensured our safety by not letting the animals get too close, which, to be honest, made us feel in good hands.

After a magnificent breakfast we headed towards the lake manyara one of the landscape jewels of the area, where you can enjoy flocks of flamingos and storks, another African surprise. On the way to the lake we enjoy a sighting of elephants, which, although we already know from seeing them in parks or zoos, seeing them in a herd and live and direct, almost forming part of their habitat, is something indescribable. We even got to live a few tense moments when we came across a pack that we were blocking, so the head of the pack tried where to go with his entire clan and showed us that he was not liking the situation. It can be seen in the image by the alert position of its ears.

Thanks to the fact that the cars they have and especially the guides are fantastic, friendly, decisive and knowledgeable about the Tanzanian fauna and flora, we do not feel danger at any time

on the way to Ngorongoro we spent the night in Bashay Rift Lodge, that it had electricity, something unusual in the other lodges and that made me and especially my hair very happy to be able to use the dryer. Rooms with bathroom with a native decoration of great taste. In addition, the views were incredible, they showed us the African green landscapes so unknown.

Arriving at the Ngorongoro viewpoint we were able to see the majesty and immensity of the extinct crater, home to the Big 5 of Africa.

We made a break to eat in the shade of the acacias a fantastic buffet with typical African food with Serengeti beer, more local impossible. This really is living 100% Africa.

From this moment of relaxation we went to olduvai camp, considered the place of origin of humanity at an altitude of 1.400 meters, where we enjoy an evening contemplating the stars around a campfire enlivened with a typical Tanzanian dance.

We continue the photographic safari to the national park of Serengeti with several adventures with the vehicles that were overcome with the help of a tractor. We passed by the stone on which Disney's Lion King contemplated his domain.

we spent the night in ronjo camp, in the heart of the Serengeti and can be visited at any time of the year. Seeing the stars we were able to use the Skyview mobile application and locate the constellations. The night skies of Africa are a wonder not to be missed.

Finally we come across a very large group of hippos in a foothills of the Seronera river, a unique and surprising image, especially when you see them fighting. I am attaching a photo so that you can see them, although their greatness is never captured in a photo.

We arrived to Grumeti Hills, lodge located in the Grumeti reserve, right next to the Serengeti National Park, where we had the great pleasure of cooling off in the pool while enjoying the views and surroundings of Grimeti. To end our intense day, we went on a night safari ending with a fabulous dinner in the savannah, being scrutinized by the surrounding animals, which gave the moment a certain magic, always under the watchful eye of the protective Maasai.

As a final touch, they prepared a country breakfast for us in which no detail was lacking. Our return was quite exciting as we flew back over the African savannah. One last great goodbye. And with great sorrow of my heart I end this great unique experience here.

To support the closing image, I show you the photo of how I felt during this whole trip: free, happy... floating

I say goodbye in advance of a scoop, the company with which we work this destination is the first company in Tanzania that will use as of June 2018 electric cars in our Safaris, we will start testing them in the Grumeti Reserve. We love being able to work for sustainability and thus try to protect as much as possible these wonders that nature provides us.

Until next time!

I can't stop uploading these other photos, and I won't even tell you about the ones that remain in the drawer...

Note:

*The Tanzanian government has set high prices to avoid the ravages of mass tourism. Nature is therefore wilder and there are fewer people in its natural parks
